Built in 1574, the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is located in Amritsar (the state of Punjab, India) and is a place of great beauty and inspiring quietness. The temple is considered to be one of the oldest places of worship for the ‘Sikhs’.
The Golden Temple is known for the Buddhahas spent time at this place in observation. Two thousand years after Buddha’s time,another philosopher, Guru Nanak (1469-1539), came to live and meditate in this peaceful place. Hi is the founder of the Sikh religion. Read more

The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
The Taj Mahal (also “the Taj”) is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.” Read more
